Don’t pay any attention to ‘Sleepless in San Franscisco’. This book is awful. I’ve read better instructions from my college roommate. She’s not technical either! But at least she has an intelligent thought.

    Don’t bother buying this drivel.

This book was a big disappointment. I returned it for another book when all that I could get was store credit. Save yourself the headache.

This book lacks any substance whatsoever. I was even more disappointed when I read the author’s bio and found that he has no professional experience in web design.

If you want a good book on web design, buy a book by an author that does this stuff in real life. Or better yet, take a course from Northeastern University.

The language used in this book is that of a five year old child (and I’m being nice!). This is exemplified by the following quote from the book: “Many animals use sound to communicate what’s up.”

There are other books on the market that are MUCH better. This book barely scratches the surface of web design. The author does not have a full grasp of web design technologies. This book may be appropriate elementary school kids.

At the collegiate level this book is a joke. It’s as if the author is talking to a child and his bandwidth examples are arbitrary.

    Don’t waste your money!
