The DVD shows very good examples of a layout the designer wants to achieve and the way to get there. Besides he creates layouts that I’ve never seen before, not even similar. The book is also good and inspiring.

CSS Artistry brings fresh ideas on how to write pages and tries to point out the idea of semantic web. I believe that is the way to go in the future. Andy gives very nice ideas and guide how to achieve that. DVD also talks about box model and inheritance. Thanks to this DVD I understood what relative really means and how cascading works. Lucas

This book is not a css book. This book is a guide of which steps you should do when you design a web site. Andy will give you very useful advices:
– First thing the content and then design layout
– Follow standards. When and why.
– Create one markup and many designs through css
– shows you which html elements will be more useful in different situations.
– How to manage different navigation software and versions.
– Semantic content. Micro formats
I really like it. It’s well written and very good edited. The only drawback it’s that dvd content and book content it’s very similar so probably spend 20$ more in the pack (book + dvd) maybe is not interesting thing.
